Petra Zrustova joined the European Vaccine Initiative in February 2024 as Quality Assurance Manager. She holds a Master’s degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology and Virology from Charles University in Prague. Through her career, she worked in the field of the development and aseptic manufacturing of personalized immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer. She also worked in QC Development where she supported implementation and maintenance of quality system in GCLP laboratory.
Before joining EVI, she worked as a Scientist in Downstream Processing where she got extensive experience with GMP manufacturing. Besides, she planned and supported client’s projects. At her last role she was also responsible for processing of Deviations, planning of CAPAs and Change Control Management in Production Department. She took part in writing/review of SOPs and quality documents and preparation and execution of audits.
As QA Manger Petra would like to influence working practices to improve standards of quality. Working at EVI means to her having a meaningful mission with possibility to improve safety and quality of very needed vaccines for treatment of tropical diseases.
