Souyet is a Microbiologist with a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University Medical School in Vienna. She held postdoctoral position at the St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute in Austria and later worked as an Associate Research Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. Since 2017 she completed successfully a master’s in clinical research where she became greatly interested in clinical research, specifically in vaccines. She has managed several clinical trials for vaccines candidates against emerging infectious diseases. Being a scientist gave her the vision of the effect on mortality reduction through vaccination, and motivated her to follow her career path contributing with the eradication of many infectious diseases.
